LANGE—MANNIX WEDDING

A quiet wedding of considerable intcrest was solemnised recently at the Ohurch of the Sacred Heart, Hastings, by the Eev. Father McDonald, when Ethel Mary,,. elder daughter of Mr and Mrs L. Mannix,, Fitzroy Avenue, Hastings, was marrietl to Lawrence, son of Mr and the late Mrs Lange, of Hastings. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Monica Mannix, and Mr Thomas Mannix, of Wellington, earried out the duties of best man. Aiter the ceremony the reception was held at the home of the bride 's parents, where a number of friends spent an enjoyable time. The bride and bridegroom la.ter left by car for the south, the bride travelling in a deep blue woollen ensemble with blue velour hat, and a slate grey coat, navy igloves, shoes and purse. Mr and Mrs. Lange 's future home will be in Wairoa.
