MISSIONARY'S DEATH
Lost From Launch in Storm AUCKLAND. Last Night. The Melanesian Mission ship} Southern Cross VII, which arrived to-day. brought details of a tragedy in January, when the Rev. George Henry West, a member of the Mission staff, who lost his life i'n the Santa Cruz group. With a crew of five natives. Mr West undertook a 60-mile trip by launch ift fche opeu sea.
