' Members expressed the opinion that now the association' s fixture was re-es-tablished and all sections working smoothly it was unnecessary for subcommittees to meet separately, but that a general committee, comprisiug one member from each sub-committee, should be appoiuted whose duty it would be to meet and deal with the compilation of. schedules for the v^rious sections and that the finandial arrangements and general administration be controlled by a finance' and executive committee as at present. 0n the motion of Mr L. G. Harker, it was decided "that meetings cf subcommdttees be not held prior to the annual general meeting and that Messrs J. D. Ormond, jnr., R. P. Wilder, and the secretary be appointed a sub-com-mittee to frame a notice of motion for presentation to the amittal general meetipg to alter the mode of control as at present constituted to conform with the expressed wislies of the executive.') It was resolved that, in view of the position this year, no ball should be held. The following new members were elected: Messrs C. L. Monckton, Carlson's Jewellers, R. G. McLeod, B. S. Cook, Makaretu, C. Severinsen, Makaretu, H. M. Christie, M.P., Bewley's Ltd., Waipukurau, W. Martin, Hobson, A. J. Inglis, Ongaonga, W. Maekie, Takapau, Fred Fox, Takapau, Alister C. Campbell, J. A. ' Grant, Hatuma, J. Pettit, Ongaonga.
