Some declare that the British Government is alanmed at the increased cost of rearmament owing to mounting prices and dronped a hint to America that action to damp down markets would not be unfavourably regarded in London. It" is also seriously suggeisted that gold will again be put into circulation by the Bank of England. Every commodity is affected by the prevailing uncertainty.
