A respected resident of the Dannevirke district for 60 years passed awayon fcJunday niorning in tho person of Mrs Mary Hall. Deceased was born in Sehleswig-Holstein 68 years ago, eoming to New Zealand at the age of severn 8he lived for a few years at Takapau, tlicn moving to Makotuku, tvhere ske married tlie late Mr Thomas Hall, who died two and a-half years ago. About 40 years ago Mr and Mrs ITall moved to Dannevirke l\ut returned to Makotuku after three or four years. Tn 1913 they again went to Dannevirke, where thoy spen t the rcst of their lives. There are iive sons and two daughters,
