EXPELLED MISSIONARIES

British Protest at Italian Action (■Beceived 13, 8.45 a.m.) ROME, April 12. The British Ambassador, Sir Eirio Drummond, visited Count Ciano, Italian Foreign Minister, and formally protested against the expulsion of British missionaries from Abyssinia, and Signor Gayda's allegations against the missionaries' moral character and activities, also against the fantnstic Italian articles regarding Waziristan (Northern India). Oount Ciano replied that ha might later furnish particulars of incidents. Mr William Phillips, American Ambassador, protested against the expulsiou of American women missionaries.
