RISSINGTON DANCE
3 * ' ' 5 One of the best dances held at Risj sington for a long time was given last Friday evening. Visitors came' from far and near, and the hall was erowded. ' The dance was in aid of the piano fund 3 and was a marked euccess. 1 The hall wgs . gaily decorated with 3 streamers and was also lit up by electricity for the first time. Thanks are. due to Messrs R. Absolom, S. Williams and A. Wilton, whose efforts made the evening so enjoyable. The ladies' eom-. mittee provided an enjoyable eupper which included home-made savouries. Mr Les. Henry 's orchestra waa thanked for pTOviding the music free, Mr P. Parker for donating a sheep and Mr M. Clark for donating a turkey. The dance was brought to a close with the singlng of "Auld Lang Svne" and the National Antheia,
