Makotuku Club's Meeting

MAKOTUKU, This Day. At the annual meeting of the Sheep Dog Triai Club there was a very good attendance of members. Mr Walter Mildon was in the ehair. The report and balance-sheet were presented and adopted. Mr G. Lang, who is leaving the district, resigned from the position of hon secretary. Officers for the coming year were elected as follows: — Patroness, Mrs A. Holden; patron, Mr G. Holden; president, Mr j. Bowden; chairman, Mr W. Mildon; secretary, Mr G. Mangos; vicepresidents' and an energetic committeB were elected. The date of the trials for this year was fixed for May 19, 20, and 21 and the meeting will be held as usual on Mrs B. Morrison 's land, kindly lent for the purpose. Members seem keenly interested in the sports and ready to make a success of the affair.
