WAIPAWA, This Day. The usual fortnightly meeting of the Loyal Abbotsford Lodge, Manchester Unity Oddfellows, was held on Saturday evening, the N.G., Sister B. Weston, presiding over *a fair attendance of members. Two candidatee were initiated into - the order, and one proposed for membership. A vote of sympathy was passed with the relatives of the late Bro. A. E. Willis, and a letter of condolence is to be forwarded to Mrs Willis. A letter is also to be sent to the lodge surgeon, Dr. F. W. South, -fishing him a speedy recovery. P.G. Bro. E. C, Kingston reported on the business transacted at the District Conferenee held in Waipukurau. The lodge office'rs and Past Grands of the lodge were appointed as a committee to deal with matters appertaining to the ritual.
