WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. The fortnightly meeting of the Hawke's Bay branch of the New Zealand DX Qub was held in Woods' tearooms on Wecinesday. Mr V. King presided. A general discussion about the new club room upstairs followed. The cup competitions resulted. — C. L. Brooks Cup (BCB) : L. Mathie with VK4JO (Queensland) 1, B. Mathieson with VK3HF (Victoria) 2. American Amateurs (Short-wave) : Y. King W6ZJH (U.S.A.) 1. Australian Stations cup: V. King and L. Mathie tied with 3MB (Yictoria). 4HQ (Commercial SW Stations): B. Mathieson "Radio Podebrady" 1, Len Hawge Cup: L. Mathie WMAQ (U.S.A.) 1. The open Faster competition was won by Mr J. Piki.
