THAMES, Last Night. In spite of showery conditions tlie Tliames Trotting Club held a very suceessful meeting to-day, the totalisator showing an' increase of £7211. The racng was clean and good and the only inquiry was held into the win of Transfer in the Puriri Handicap, when F. J. Smith , who was seco-nd, alleged that the winner was led off the mark.
