The Hastings Townswomen's Guild ha« arranged an entertainment in the Oddfellows' Hall, Hastings, for Wednesday at 7.45 p.m. It will be open to all, tha admission being 1/-. A meeting of creditors of F. W. Fen gusson aud Co., Ltd. (in liquidation) will be held at the office of Duff and Averill, Queen street, Hastings, at 2.3Q p.m. to-morrow. A comniunity old-time dance tvill be held :'a tbe Hastings Citizens' Bandrocm to-morro'v evening at 8 o'clock. The Hastings Rugby Football dub has vacancies for third-grade players. Thosq clesirous of playing are asked to meet Mr Bert Grenside at Nelson Park at 7.30 p.m.. to-morrow. A modern and old-time dance will be held in the Excelsior Hall} Napier, tonight. There will also be old-time dauces on Wednesday and Saturday evenings. • Tenders closing Saturday next are invited for the erection of a small cottage. Plans and specifications can be inspected at 604 Princes street, Hastings.
