Mr and Mrs W. E. Walker left Waipukurau yesterday for Taumarunui to attend the funeval of Mrs Walker s m other, Alrs J. Hayes. I)r. A, G. Bell, resident medical officer at the Waipukurau Public Hospital, has resigned, and is proceeding to England i'or post-graduate studies.
