PLAYERS REINSTATED
From League to Rugby Applications for re-instatement from the .League cod© have been granted by the Ne\y. Zealand Rqgby Union to Rov Bister and Bradley Bliss, both of whom were last season members of th© Clive Rugby League seuior thirteen. Lister is a half-back and Bliss a forward, and both will be members of the Pirate seuior team. An application on behalf of W. T. Davis, former North Auckland League representative has also been passed. Davis is to play on th© wing for Marist Bros. Old Boys. Fui'ther applications were received from A. Scudder, H. W. Cushing, G. Murray and J. Mataira, all -of whom have played for the Clive League team. In th© case of oue of these. players, iij was stated that he had been ordered off the field by another Rugby Union, and had not appeared before that union. Pending further aGvice it was decided to hold up this application. Applica- ' fcions by M. Purcell and M. Meafou were also forwarded, both being Clive players last season.
