Minor Car ColiisionA coliision between a motor lorry driven by Mr George Halford, of Waipukurau, and a car driven by Mr W. Williamson, of Wanstead, oceurred at the intersection of Holyrood Terrace, Wellington and Porangahau, roads, Waipukurau, at about 4 o'clock on Thursday afternoon. No one was hurt and no material damage, apait from th6 denting of mudgtuards, was done, both vehicles driving away under theix own power.. Waipukurau Gymjiasium 0!ub. The Waipukurau Gynmasium Clnb had a fair attendanee for its opening meeting on Thursday evening, when all gear beionging to the club was assembied.- It was decided to divide the club into senior and junior •sectious, "the juniors to meet at 6.H0 and the seniors at 7.30 each Thursday evening. Instruction in general gymnasium work will commence next week after wliieh various games will be played, includine basketball and ping-ping. Wrestling and boxing will also be staged.
