Anzac Day Arrangements A meeting of the Taradale and District Returned Soldiers' Association was held on Tuesday night, Mr J. F. Miller presiding over a large number of members. The principal business for discussion was the Anzac Day arrangements. The parade will assemble at the War Memorial at 9.30 a.m. and march to the Town Hall for the service as usual, after which the customary wreaths will be laid at the base of the tower. As the 21st. anniversary of the establishment of the New Zealand Returned Soldiers' Association will fail on April 28, a speeial meeting of the Taradale branch will be held on that date, and an address is to be formulated for presentation to the Town Board, thanking the public" for the assistance extended to returned men over the period of the 21 years. A report from the branch's sick visitors, Messrs F. Badley and C. A. Baker, statod that the Napier Hospital had been fairly regularly visited during the moiith, and that the visits had been much appreciated by the patients. Mr H. W. Gallagher was appointed assistant secretary to the branch. Nomination papers for offieers for tbe incoming year were issued, to be- deait with at the anmial meeting, which will he held on the usual social lines, fiud a committee was set up to oarry out the neccssary arrangements. Votes of condolenee wei'e aocorded Mr E. Grant, on the death of his father and Mr D. Smith, on the death of his mother.
