STATICE FROM SEED
Statice pr sea lavender is becoming more popular avery season, With the shortage of flowers in ihe eooler months this flower is invaluable for house deooration. The blooms will last six months if properly dried off and kept in a vase without water. Statice is easily grown from seed sown in boxes and lightly covered over with fine sandy soil. The seeds take aboqt two weeks to germinate, and when large. enough should he prieked off info-other boxes about two inches apart. In eight weeks from sowing the plants are, large enough for bedding out into their permanent position. Seed may be had of white, blue, rose and yellow, ,
