Tbe Lairdsmoor, whicb Was carrying six passengers and 321 cattle, waa badly holed and is reported to have ; sunk. Her passengers were transferred to the TaranakL Lifeboati arrived on tbe soese frote Dbnnagfindee within eight minutes of the collision^ * The Shaif Savill Co. has received 1 message from the oaptala Of the Taranaki stating that they had rescued all the passengers and erew of the Lairdsmoor with the exception of the captain and a fireman, who it is feareH were lost, , ■
