cBy TelCgraph-
DUNEDIN, Last Night. An inquest was held t6-day into the death of Errol Warrington Oolvin, a yoting pilot who was killed instantly when he crashed in an Otago Aero Glub machine-at Wylie 's Orossing on March 25. The coroner, Mr J. E. BartholomeW, said the evidence showed that the machine was in perfect order, an examination having been carried out before it was put into flight. It had actually been flown a few minutes before by another pilot, who said he found it in perfect order. Colvin was gaining experience and had had dual instruetion in spin flying. On this occasion he -asked for permission to attempt this flying, and this was granted,' the instructor being of opinion that Colvin was reasonably competent to perform it. It was a matter of pure speculation as to what occurred, and the unfortunate fatality appeared to be one of pure misadventure. The verdict was that death was due to injuries received when the deceased crashed.
