PROVINCIAL PERSONALS
Misses M. and L. Jobnstone, Wanstead, and Mrs Veitch, of the Chatham Islands, who has been their guest, left on Monday for Rotorua on holiday. The Rev. A. C. Jones and Mrs Jones have left Waipawa for Silverdale, North Auckland, where Mr Jones will be in. charge of the Methodist Church. Mr and Mrs , J. Ford, Lindsay, have returned to Waipawa from a motor tour of the north. Mr W. Harwood, Waipawa, hais left for the South Island, having received advice of the death of his father there. Mrs D. Newlands, who has been visiting relatives in Waipawa, has returned to her home in Dunedin. Mr and Mrs M. Colquhoun, Onehunga, Auckland, have returned home after visiting relatives in Hawke's Bay. Miss Monica Fitzgibbon, Napier, returned home by car from Dannevirke yesterday. Mr and Mrs Eric Gully, Wellington, who have been camping at Waikaremoana, have returned home. Mr A. T. Carroll has been re-elected a vice-president of the Poverty Bay Hockey Association. Mr J. C. Cousins, Gisborne, bas taken up a position at North Clyde. Mr and Mrs A. Johansen,' and their son, Norsewood, were the guests for a few days of Mrs Johansen 's parents, Mr and Mrs O. Ericksen. They left yesterday for Pahiatua, prior to taking up their residence at Tikokino.
