The white ensign flown by the battle-cruiser H.M.S. New Zealand at the Battle of Jutland in May, 1916, has now been presented to the Dominion Museum for safe keeping. It was originally 4ft. by 8ft., but the wear and tear of stormy weather has blown away about a third of the original flag. Accompanying the flag is a certificate issued by Admiral Sir John Green certifying that it was flown on H.M.S. New Zealand during the Battle of Jutland.
