A 'meeting of the TwyfOrd bachelors and spinsters was recently held at Mrs A. J. Burge3s home. Invitations were written out'and matters were discussed and arranged in conneetion with the forthcoming ball to be held at Fernhill next week in aid of Twyford Hall funds. * Those present were MessTS L. Masters (chairman), R. Trotter, R. McLeod, I. Bradshaw, A. W. Burge and B. Wxlson; also Misses M. Burge, A- and M. Griffiths, J. Trotter, M. McLeod, I. J. Burge, D. Bainbridge, I. Bone, J. Tate, and A. Ellison.
