Mr. E. H. Lee, Waipawa

The death occurred to-day at Waipukurau of a highly respeeted resident of Waipawa in the person of Mr E. H. Lee, senior member of the legal ftrm of Lee, Mackie, Harker, and McEIay. The late Mr Lee, who was 74 years of age, was a well-known figure in Waipawa and through Hawke's Bay. He xetired from the practice of his profession about 16 br 17 years ago,' and had lived a quiet life in Waipawa ' ever since. He was a staunch supporter of St. Patrick's Ghurch, to which, some yeaTs ago, he presented a beautiful organ. He had been in indifferent health for two or three months, and on Tuesday was removed to a private hospital in Waipukurau, where he passed away to-day. Besides his widow, he leaves one daughter, Mrs Roy Harris, of the Waikato, to mourn their loss.
