Ship's Steward's Story (Received 7., 11.15 a.m.)

LONDON, April 6. At the resumed inquest into the death of Frank Vosper, the actor, Charles Oarbon, night steward, in evidence said be went to Miss Oxford 's etateroom at 2.45 a.m. When he eiftered, Miss Oxford and Mr Willes were lonnging on the divan and Yosper was stau ding in front of the divan. Witness left the stateroom and returned in five or six minutes. Miss Oxford asked him if he had seen Mr Yosper and then asked him to look for Mr Vosper. The foreman of the jury asked: "Had you heard any comment of close friendship between Vosper and Mr Willes?" Carbon Teplied: "It does not interest the stewards. They take no notice oi! what happens on a ship." An open verdict of found drowned was returned.
