MINISTER APPROVES OF MAGISTERIAL INQUIRY

An indication that the Minister ' of Health has approved of a magisterial inquiry into the administration of the Napier Public Hospital, was givea this morning by the Hon. W. E. Barnard, M.P., who has just returned from tho South Island. Ife said tnat- tho Minister 's approval would he forthcoming if the Hawke's Bay Hospital Board itself desired that a magisterial inquiry be beJcJ. "I do not know what the pres ent position is regarding the Hospital Board, so I can give no indication as to the possible date of such an inquiry," he added.
