British Activity in Spain
(Received 7, 11.55 a.m.) RUGBY, April 6. Information on further bumanitarian work in which the British representatives in Spain and. His Majesty's ships have participated in xecent weeks was given in the House of Commons in an answer by the Foreign Secretary. Since the oatbreak of the war, as a xesult of the untixing activities of His Majesty's diplomatie and consular xepresentallve«, said Mr Eden, His Majesty's ships had evacuated about 17,000 Spanish and ©ther foreign nationals from ports on the north coast of Spain alone. ^
