Gordon Walker Ltd. Oonsidering that it was the first sale after Easter a surpxi&ingly heavy yarding of poultry and pigs came forward at Gordon Walker Ltd's. weekly market sale on Saturday last. Poultry values eased a little on the top rates ruling prior to Easter though. all lots sold to an unsatisfied demand. Lighter sorts maintained their improved values in tbe pig section, while porkers and baconers sold to animated bidding at absolute peak rates. Over 200 lots of sundries sold at fluctuating values according to the demand, Prices realised were as follow: Poultry. — Table birds, 1/10 to 7/8; W.L. hens, 1/10 to 2/3 and 1/6 to 2/-; W.L. pullets (forward),' 4/- to 5/3 (small), 2/3 to 3/10; W.L. eels., 2 /- to 3/1, B.Q. hens, 2/4 to 3/5, B.O. eels. 2/3 to 4/and 2/2 to 2/10 ; B.O. pullets (forward) 3/11 to 6/3 (small), 2/8 to 4/1; others (hens) 1/8 to 2/6; (eels), 2/6 to 3/6; (pullets), 2/6 to 3/9; bantams, lOd to 1/3; budgies, 6/9; turkeys, 5/3 to 5/9; ducks, 4/2 to 7/8 a pair. Pigs. — Weaners, 6/- to 11/6; slips, 14/6 to £1; stcires, 19/- to £1 3/-; lt. porkers, £1 6/6 to £1 13/-; porkers, £1 12/- to £1 18/-; heavy porkers, £2 1/to £2 15/-; baconers, £2 11/- to £2 19/- ; choppers, £1 6/- to £1 15/- ; lambs, £1 7/-.
