PLAY AT HAVELOCK
No Matches Till DressingSheds Are Provided SUB-UNION'S DECISION No matches under the jurlsdiction of the Hastings Eugby Football Sub-
tJnion are to be played at the Havelock Nortb Domain tliis coming season until such time as facilities are provided for the players. . This was the Idecision reached at the meeting of the management committee of .the subunion last evening, when it was considered that the lack of facilities, parI ticularly in th ematter of dressingsheds, waranted this action. The question arose when application was made by Mr E. . J. Wall, on behalf of the Havelock North club, for the usual assistance towards providing training facilities for the players at the Domain. A ntember: What about providing dressing-sheds ? Mr Wall: The club fs hopeful that they will be provided. Both. Mr Wall and Mr J. Heffernan, fepresentatives of the Havelock North club, pointed out that the erection of a pavilion at the Domain was now being contemplated, but there was some
bitch in the proposals .at the present time owing to lack of finance. I The chairman, Mr C. H. Bunker, said • that the sub-union had made a I donation to the pavilion' fund last season. Members considered it necessary that there should be dressing-shed accommodation available for players on alL grounds used for games, and * after a brief diseussion it was decided not to play any games at the" Domain until such. facilities were provided. Consideration of the grant to the club was held over until blie next meeting.
