Earthwork: Two gangs totalling 54 men and ten teams have been working on contract during the period; 22,420 cubic yards have been put qn the south levee. The total quantity shifted to date is 78.089 cubic yards and the cost l/ll,2d a cubic yard. Clearing: Six'teen men have been engaged and one mile of heavy clearing finished. Fencing : Two fencing gangs are employed on permanent fencing.
