ONGAONGA MEETING

The Ongaonga Women's Institut© meeting was held in the hall on Thursday. Mrs Bradley presided over a giood attendanee. Mesdames Bradley and L. •Carr were appointed delegates to attend the annual meeting of the Southern Hawke's Bay Federation. Mrs Hanna, Ashley Clinton, demonstrated wood fibre flowers, having with her a wonderful collection of eprays. The competition for the day resulted: Queen cakes: Mrs Bell 1, Mrs Bradley 2,, Mrs L. Carr 3. Best result from skein .4-ply wool: Mn L. Carr 1, and 2, Mrs Bell 3. The hostesses were Mesdames Beachen and Carr.
