'Members of the * Bhode Island Honse indnlged in fist fights as a reault of a heated debate on a "measure to plaee the administration of Pawtucket's police, fire ahd pnblic works departments in the hands of a comruisiion, depriving the Mayor of control; The Bill was torn in half during the riott but one member plunged head-first over a desk, recovered the pieces and earried them to the Speaker. Governor Quinn'summoned the'State eity poliee, who stopped the battle. The adjonrnment of the Honse followed.
