MRS P. DINGLE'S DEATH A LOSS TO WOMEN'S ORGANISATIONS
Th© recent death of Mrs P. Dingle, of Tauwhare, will be a great loss to the many women' s organisations with which she was associated. Mrs .Dingle was well-knowxi in the Tamahere district as Miss Ida Pickering and was a member of the teaching staff of the Sonning Girls' School for some years. She later taught at* Tamahere and after her marriage went to livo at Tauwhare. Mrs Dingle was presidcnt of the Matangi and o£ the Tauwhare Women's Institutes and at the time of her death was the vice-president of the lattpr. She had been a member of tlie Hamilton Lyeeum Ciub since its inception ten years ago. Mrs Dingle took a keen interest in horse-racing and polo and she was an players as a member of the Hamilton Golf Club. Slie was also a keen hockey player as a member of the Hamilton Cltib 1 and gained representative honours. She is survived by lier husband and three sons, two oi' wliom are at. . VVangaxiui College.
