(Eeceived 2, 11.5 a.m.) LONDON, April I. The bounteous publicity given the Australian soldiers ' contingent to the Coronation is provlng embarrassing. One newspaper printed a story that .tiany were hoping to take back nice English wives and published photo- : graphs of Major Rnddock and Colonel Jonald. As a result, they have receiv- • ed dozens of lettprs from girls seeking romance. Major Ruddock told the Australian Associated Fress that he was frightened to go to the mailbox now as he was getting at Ieast 25 Ietters a day from blondes, brunettes and others, some : proposing marriage and writing romantically abont the wide open spaces^One asked Major Enddock to bring half a' dozen Australians to her town ;to meet her girl friends.
