John Hunt, a wealthy white follower of the uegro Father Divine, the socalled St. John the Divine, is sought under the Manu Act on a charge of transporting the 17-year-old Delight Jewitt, a Denver schoolgirl, to inake her the new Virgin Mary. The protests of Lionel BaTrylnore and nther screen celebrities caused the police recently to disperse 200 followers of Hunt, who used his home here as the so-called New Bethlehem.
