ORCHARDISTS ORGANISE
Union of Employers meeting in hastings A general meeting of Hawke's Baym'chardists Was held in the Oddfellows' Hall, at Hastings, last night, when the organising of a Hawke's Bay hranch of the New Zealand Fruitgrowers' lndustrial Union of Employers was disoussed. Mr J. H. Milne presided. It was decided to set up the followiiig committee to further the work of organising: Messrs J H. Milne, A. M. Robertson, T- Muirhead Crawford, Ralph Paynter, Flewellyn King, J. PBoyle, and A. L. Baumgart. Before tho meeting some 50 mefnbers had been enrolled, and this total was brougbt up to 100 at the meeting. After a general discussion on Jabotir conditions the meeting terminated.
