CHEISTCHURCH, Last Night. The Customs revenue at Christchurch for the finaneial year ended to-day shows an increase of £314,142. The main totals with last year's iigures in parenth§sis are: Customs, £1,086,974 (£905,746) ; beer excise, £104,902 (£84,173:; saies tax, £405,978 (£323,658); tyre duty, £11,514 (£11,047); petrol, £254,091' (£225,963). The main Iigures for the nionth of Marcli with Jast year's i:i parentheses, are: Customs, £o?,l'62 (£87,342); beer excise, ;310,9S4- (£7496) ; saies tax, £39,640 (£23,501); tyre duty, £1022 (£577); petrol. £23,356 t £42,236). The totals for March are £173,899 K«W2|9
