* AUCKLAND, Last Night. An inspection of Waitemata Harbdiii knd of fhe suggested sites for the establishment of a flying boat base will ba made to-morrow by Captain Musick and experts from the crew of the clipper. This is actually one of the most impoftant aspects df th© survey fiight as a, first-class teriainal base is an essential in the orgaiiisation of a commercial olr eervice. Captain Musick and liis officers together with Mr. Harold Gatty and the company's experts who have beOn tosponsible for - -V nd organisatio'n in Auckland will first obtaih a comprehensive vieW 6f Ihe harboiif ffom the suiatait of Moiiht Edcn. Having obtainect a panoramic view of the haibour with phfticiilUr feference to the selectibn of the most suitable quhrtCr for an estabiishment Of the base, the party will ' probably drive along the waterfront r'oad to inspeet the general oiitlook from that angle. Finally they will return to ihe City and boafd the Auckland Uarboui Board's lauiiCh to cota- J plete their inspection by sea. DUriiig his eaflier visits to Auckland I Mr. Gatty has made several inspections of the haibuur in fiompaliy with the Harbour Board;s ofiicial8 to piek out possib'lc sites for a flying boat base. j These sites will all be inspeeted and | theif advantages assessed by the experts ffOiti the crew Of the Clipper.
