(By Air Mail-
NEW YORK, March 4. Highest-paid artist's model in the IJnited States, Miss Gwili Andre's posing fee is £10 an, hour — but do not envy her. Lovely Miss Andre has been complaining that her life as a super-suc-cessful model is one of the strietest self-diseipline. "I have to be lit V keep my looks and figure, so I cannot drinlc, smolce or even go to parties, " she says. Barties, theatres and the like would keep lier np too late at night. 'And the irony. is,* ' she J^dds, "that I have a woriderful collect'on of evening gowns — to pOSe in only. ' ' Miss Andre rises early every morning for exereises, b.reakfast on fruit, then poses for an artist or photographer. In the afternoon she has to visit a hairdresser, for her hair must be as perfect as her tigure. Then she has to discuss future engagements and try on the elothes required. A few hours to herself, then moTe exereises — and ofE to bed ..t 0.30 sharp. But by keeping beautiful slie is building up a large fortuue. A few montks ago she was earning £90 a week, but now sh.6 is in such demand that her earnings are mountmg by leaps and 'oounds. • "Within a few years her diseipline cvill be rewarded. She will retlre with a eomfortable fortun6.
