Alterations Probable POULTRY BOARD NEEDED

WELLINGTON, This Day. The Minister of Agriculture, the Hon. W. Lee Martin, stated to-day that the policy to be adopted to regulate the marketing of eggs had been given serious consideration and' probably alterations would require to be made. In the meantime ,the Government viewed the Poultry Board as an essential link with the industry. It was expected that the board would continue to function in its present form for some considerable time. He believed that poultry-keepers would recognise the need to support the board and that the, necessary finance from registration fees would be provided without the enforcement of the penalty provisions of the Act
