£13,000 Add to Auckland Hospital Pay-Roll

AUCKLAND, This Day. Salary increases aggregating £13,000 to mpmbers of the staff were decided on at an Auckland Hospital Board speeial meeting. These are additional to inereased expenditure amounting to £30,000 incurred during the year as a result of the new industrial legislation, including in some cases a 40-hour week with consequent increases in staffihg. The increases become operative to-morrow, the beg^nning of the financial year.
