Infantile Paralysis in Hastings
No further cases of infantile paralysis have been reporfced to the health authorities in Hastings for the 24 hours ended noon to-day. ' ' The position is quite satisfactory at present," said the borough health inspector, Mr C. O. Carrell, this morning when pointing out that in Hastings itself there had been only one case reported in the last week. Mangateretere was omitted from the list published yesterday of the schools that would be closed txntif next Monday. The Education authorities this morning had no further announcement to make about the reopening of schools or th© possibl© extensiojx of th© period of closur®.
