AUCKLAND, Last Night. When found by the caretaker on the Ellerslie Racecourse after midnight, Erasmus Arfhur J ones, aged 62, said he was looking for the owner of Irish Comet. In the Police Oourt this morning Jones admitted a charge of trespassing, but stated in evidence that he did not intend to commit a crime. He had had a milk shake with the owner of the horse earlier in the evening and was looking for him. Mr W. R. McKean, S.M., said he did not believe Jones was looking for the owner and remanded him till Wednes-, day for sentence.
