MRS ELIZA SAWYER

The death occurred at the Cook Hospital, Gisborne, on Friday night, of Mrs Eliza Zealand Sawyer, two of whose sons, Messrs Ernest and Jack Sawyer, reside in Hastings. Mrs Sawyer had the distinction of being one of the oldest members of the Salvation Army Corps in Poverty ■ Bay. The interment took place at tlie Makaraka cemetery 5 esterday.
