WAIPUKURAU, Last Night. Railways (Waipukurau) defeated Patangata by 20 runa in a crieket mateh played during the Easter holidays. In their first inninge Railways compiled^ 83 (Cheadle 10, Bendeich 14, Harris 10, Marfell 13; Arnott three for 19). Patangata replied with 99 (Stevens 20, Curley 18, Bullen 41; Steel six for 33, Bendeich three for 23). Railways' seeond innings produced 93 (Dilworth 12, Healey 22, MeLaggan 17, Bondeieh 14; Luke six for 17, Cullen three for 22) asid Patangata eompiled 57 (Priee 16; Bendeich seven for 26; Steel four for 26).
