FEILDING, March 27. The Feilding Jockey Club's Easter meeting opened on Saturday in fine weather. The sky was overcast and there was a threat of rain, but there was a very big attendance, and. the totalisator handled £27,250 10/-, as against £20,207 10/- on Easter Saturday last year, the inerease being £7043. The course was in very good order and the times were fast, the Oup being won by Alby in 2.6, the open sprint by Ben Braggie in l.lS 2-5, and the Nursery Handicap by Geira in 60 4-5secs. At the conclusion of the racing the stewards met to consider interference in the running of the Onepuhi Hack Handicap, when _ Happy Hunting was stated to have been interfered with by War Lap. After hearing the evidence, G- Tattersall, rider of War Lap, was Buspended for - the remainder of the meeting for crossing Happy Hunting.
