MAETON, March 2& Eetailers last evening met in camera jto again thrash out the half holiday issue. The press was excluded, but it lis understood a decision was made to , revert to Wednesday next week with jSaturday the late night. A resolution was also passed favour(ing a universal Saturday half day and ithe member for Eangitikei, Mr. O. ,Wilson, is to be asked to make repreisentations in this direction. For the past fortnight the town has been hopelessly divided, some closing on Wednesday in face of a majoriity wish. Last night's meeting was the 'third to discuss the question and feelings have been running high.
