Annual Meeting oi H.H.S.O.B. Club There was an attendance of 52 at ihe annual meeting of the Hastings High Sehool Old Boys' Eugby Football Club, held recently. Mr. S. I. 'Jones presided. I Congratulations upon the generally satisfactory position recorded last season were extended by the chairman, who also paid a tribute to the fine spirit of goodwill and coinradeship that had existed in the club. The election of officers resulted as follows: — Patron, Mr. W. A. G. Penlington; president, Mr. S. I. Jones; vicepresidents, Messrs. G. Luttrell, J. Eedward, E. E.'Elphiek, H. G. Apsey and E. Colwill; hon. secretary, Mr. L. M. Andrews; hon. treasurer, Mr. E. Eenouf; hon. auditor, Mr. O. Denton; club captain, Mr. W. Lochhead; vicecaptain, Mr. J. Seed; committee, Messrs E. Apsey, L. Taylor, P. Tritt, L. McCarthy, E. Murray and J. Eedward; records-keeper, 'Mr. H. Norton. The appointment of club coaches was left to the incoming committee, with the following recommendations, Messrs. E. Colwill (senior grade), E. Eenouf. (junior), J. Seed (thirds) and G. Lobban and S. McCarthy (fourths). It was decided to urge the interchange of games in the junior grade. Nineteen new members were enrolled. It was decided to conduct a series of dances and social evenings in the early part of the season.
