Butb Chatterton is Buth Chatterton 's worst fan. "I bave a lot of bad habits and mannerisms wbicb tbey seem to like to pbotograpb in Hollywood," sbe said. "I blink my eyes a lot, for instance. To see myself doing tbat is just agony. I hate it. "Tben I bave a funny nose with a bump on tbe end of it. Since I first saw all tbis of myself on tbe screen, I just do not go to see my pictures." Miss Chatterton, wbo is 43, tbinks tbat age does not matter if you are an actress. "l've been playing motbers and grandmothers since I was 16. Good acting is above age. And 1 am an actress first. I could not pretend to be a beauty like some of tbose people in Hollywood." Her tonic before an arduous day in tbe studio is a half-bour abtwe Hollywood in ber 175 m.p.b. monoplane. Sbe got ber pilot's certificate tbree years ago.
