BUDDY ROGERS' AND MARY PICKFORD'S WEDDINGS
Band Leader Buddy Bogers is "counting tbe days" — bis own expression — to the time wben be and Mary Pickford will be married. Tbe wedding will take place witbin tbe next few weeks — probably in England. Bogers arrived at Soutbampton in tbe Ile de eFrance. He told a London film correspondent all about bis marriage bopes and plans on tbe telepbone from the ship. "I said I Was tbe luckiest guy in tbe world to be marrying Mary wben our romance leaked out a montb or so back. I say it again now. Gee! but it was too bad Mary couldn't come with me. "As soon as Mary arrives in England our marriage date will be definitely fixed — it'll probably be in England. "Haven't you been in toucb with Miss Pickford on tbe trip?" " Why, sure, sure. You bet. But cabling's not like talking. We plan tbe perfect marriage. We are going to live on my range in California — ob, it will be swell.
