PROVINCIAL PERSONALS
Mr and Mrs D. C. Macdonald, Norsewood, are on a motor tour of the Rotorua and northern districts. Mr and Mrs J. Stevenson and daughter, who have been resident at Norsewood for some time, have left to reside at Takapau. Mrs Stevenson was an active member of the Women 's Institute and, with her husband, took an interest in local aft'airs. M:r and Mrs G. Angus, Argyll, Miss N. Campbell, and iir J Strang, who have been on a motor tour of the Rotorua and Taupo districts, have' returned to Waipawa. Miss B. Hall, Waipawa, is on holiday In Auckland. Mr and Mrs R. Fissenden and family, who have been residents of Waipawa for the past 14 years, leave to-morrow to make their home ih Auckland. Miss Edith O'Connell, on the eve of her marriage, was tendered a kitchen t©a in. the Matamau hall. There was a large attendance and d'ancing was enjoyed to music supplied by Mr D. A. Stratford, assisted with extrag by Miss Anderson and Mr G. Peters. Mr A. Jackson was M.O. Sujjper was supplied by the ladies. Mr and Mrs B. Gunderson acted as host and hostess. Mr Gunderson extended to the guest of - the evening their lieartiest c&ngratuiations and best wishes and hoijed that their best days of the past would be their worst of the future. He then presented Miss O'Connell with a large number of presents. Mr G. McKenzie made a suitabie response on behalf of the recipient. Musical honours were enthusiastically rendered, after which dancing was resumed until alter midnight, when tlio very happy gathering i jbroke up. 1
